Message: I love this web site, I am doing family research and have found out that my great grandparents lived in Dante and I am coming there in June hopefully I will be able to meet some of my relatives there (The Kiser's) that would be awsome for me. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Message: My family and I waill be coming to Dante in june to do some family research and see the area where my greatgrandparents lived, if anyone has any information or pictures of the George and Harriet (keith) kiser family, I would really appreciate the info-- They moved to missouri a little after 1900 and that is where we are coming from. Message: This is a very nice website. I found it by looking for some people named Holbrook, Robert Lewis, who died in the 1950's, he had 2 children, Audron and Thelma. I believe both of them are deceased as well. I would like the name and phone No. of your oldest funeral home. Perhaps I can find some information there. Message: I got the chance to go to the reunion Two years in a row,I might get to be there this year also. I loved visiting Dante and getting to see family and meeting ones I never met before. Message: Thank you for this site. I hope to see a lot of the community out to the town meeting. Gene Stone did a grate jobe at the last meeting and I am sure it will only improve if we can get more people involved. Remember it is the dante community.

the 'charcoal' sketches on the home page ar precisely as I recall the old school house and the downtown area in late 30's and early 40's. Dante is a one in a million community and it is very gratifying to see the younger generation keep it alive. thanks.

Message: Well my comments regarding all my good memories of Dante will be added shortly when I have some time to compose them, as they are many. For now I just wanted to say I am very excited that the new Board of Dante Lives On,(DLO) which I am honored to serve on, was successful in its efforts to again convince Michelle Potter to assist the Board in improving and maintaining the organization's website. You can already see that she is well on her way to succeeding!! Most of you will remember the old web site and remamber that some time ago she and Jack Wallace put forth a lot of effort in regard to the old website, its photos etc.
I would also like to take this opportunity to ask all residents of Dante and Dante Lives On members to come out and help the current Board in meeting the goals and objectives of DLO. If you are not currently a member of DLO please join, regardless of where you may now live.
The Board will be distributing more news shortly. Remember to plan on attending the annual 2008 DLO reunion and meet a lot of your friends.
